Breakthrough 2022 Day 4
Day 4 Thursday January 6
If there was ever a time in our life that the people of God could benefit from an awesome display of the unmistakable power of the kingdom of God, it surely must be now.
God’s kingdom is so vast it can’t be measured or comprehended. In 1 Chron 29:11 declared that everything in heaven and earth belongs to the Lord and His kingdom and that everything is in His hands. Today God we bless Your name and ask that You will reveal the power of Your kingdom to us that we may fully possess the life you have given us.
Father we pray that we will fully know the power of Your name and that you will increase in us Your spirit of adoption and reconciliation to win the lost and extend Your Kingdom. When we are working with God in His kingdom no power in heaven or on the earth can overcome us. God’s kingdom is a power of its own. The Kingdom has the power to transform the humble and sincere follower into a redemptive force of reckoning. Therefore, we pray “Your Kingdom come.”
1 Cor 6:10-11 gives a daunting list of people who WILL NOT inherit the Kingdom of God and reminds us that some of us were those very people, but we were washed, sanctified, and justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and by the Spirit of our God. Let us never forget the depths from which You saved us from the ruins of our sin nor to stop praising You for it.
It is so easy to take for granted those whom God has called to lead and extend His kingdom because of our familiarity with them in their humanness. Today we are praying that God would give the pastor and elders the wisdom to make wise decisions that will extend the power of Your Kingdom to transform the atmosphere with exponential redeeming grace through which You have saved us all.
Say it with expectation, Lord we pray “Your KINGDOM Come.”
